Champions of Learning
Employee Learning Week is getting bigger and better each year thanks to your help! Make 2008 the most successful year to date by becoming a "Champion of Learning." Here are a few ideas on how your peers became "Champions" in 2007 & 2006:
- The ASTD Northeast Florida Chapter honored excellence at their Employee Development Awards
- Network Solutions held a Learning Fair
- ASTD Northeast Wisconsin Chapter passed Employee Learning Week Proclamations in six counties
- Oracle launched a Human Resources site highlighting its robust learning and development portal
- The ASTD Cascadia Chapter in Oregon created a blog to facilitate WLP discussions

What is ELW?
Employee Learning Week is an awareness campaign highlighting the important connection between learning and achieving organizational results.

When is it?
Employee Learning Week takes place December 8-12, 2008, but learning is a year-round event!

Why participate?
The growing skills gap requires organizations to develop a highly skilled workforce. Employee Learning Week is the perfect opportunity for your organization to get involved and highlight their commitment to learning and development.
